Curfex is a licensed Money Service Operator providing cross-border payment and settlement infrastructure for financial institutions, licensed platforms, and enterprise clients. Operating since 2016, we exist to bring secure, regulated fund movement through transparent and trustworthy services â and alongside Fukugu, Inc., our Japan-side affiliate, to deliver a regulated dual-entity stack across Hong Kong and Japan.
Curfex was established in Hong Kong with a clear purpose: to provide a trustworthy and transparent payment infrastructure layer that institutions and licensed platforms can rely on when operating cross-border payment flows â particularly into and out of Japan.
AML/CFT controls, transaction monitoring, and client due diligence are built into every payment flow â not added as an afterthought. Our licensed operating base is the starting point, not a checkbox.
Pricing, settlement mechanics, and client-facing responsibilities should be explainable without relying on hidden assumptions. If we cannot clearly describe how something works, we do not offer it.
Our infrastructure serves both ends of the payment relationship â licensed institutions and platforms that require a reliable, auditable counterparty, and businesses that need a compliant channel for cross-border fund movement. The same regulated foundation supports both without compromise.
